BoA is the most promising young female artist of South East Asia. She sings in Japanese, Korean & English (although Eugene found some of her songs in Chinese!!!) In her early teens, she was signed to the Korean record label SM Entertainment. After the release of her debut album, "ID; Peace B"(which was in the Top10 Albums of Korea) she was signed to the Japanese record label Avex. Her album,"Listen To My Heart", made her the first non-Japanese artist to hit the top of the album charts in Japan! Her second album, "NO.1", which was released on April 12,2002, sold 150 000 copies on the first day!!! How's that for a 15 year old pop-star? =^_^= |
